Press Release
With the TS Pulse Lock, EBRO ARMATUREN offers a customizable solution for the discharge and metering of powdered materials. It is used wherever standard valves reach their limits—such as during material transfer from silos, weighing hoppers, filter systems, or big bags to downstream process steps. The EBRO pulsed feed valve [Figure 1] enables controlled feeding into a wide variety of applications, such as vacuum reactors, screening machines, mixers, or packaging systems. Thanks to its flexible design, it can be optimally adapted to the respective process requirements. The batch valve is available in nominal diameters ranging from DN 50 to DN 1200. Both the chamber volume and the geometry of the feed pipe can be customized to meet specific customer requirements. Installation is straightforward via connection to existing tanks or piping. Depending on the medium, capacitive sensors or vibrating rod level switches are available for level monitoring. The inlet and outlet flaps can be controlled either via a higher-level PLC or, optionally, via EBRO’s own control system. In addition to its flexibility, the pulsed sluice valve stands out in particular for its safety-related features. It is gas-tight and ATEX-certified, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. In nominal diameters ranging from DN 50 to DN 600, it can be used as a passive explosion decoupling system for differential pressures of up to 10 bar. Furthermore, it can be used as an inerting vessel. The rotary valve also meets the requirements for food applications and is pressure-shock-resistant in accordance with EN 14460. It thus offers a safe and reliable solution for demanding processes in various industries.
