In-Production Inspection


In the production line quality securing inspections will be done on the basis of operator self control. The operator will be supported by the quality assurance employees.

Assembling Inspection


At the assembly line all mounted butterfly valves have to pass the tightness test made by the operator. The tightness test will be done under standard conditions acc. to DIN EN 12266, this standard is harmonised with the European pressure equipment directive (PED) 97/23 EC. On inquiry the valves could be tested also acc. to other standards, like, API 598, ISO 5208 or others.

 



Final Inspection


All butterfly valves which were assembled in the assembly line will pass the final inspection. In the final inspection section the finished valves will be inspected for conformity to the customer requirements. Only if all products specifications are conform to the order documents the valves will be released for the shipping section.

 



Service Provider


Furthermore EBRO cooperates with several external laboratories, in order to offer more inspections on special request, like for example:

 

A. Ultrasonic Inspection, X-ray Examination
(Identification of any faults, air holes inside the casting)

 

B. Magnetic Particle Inspection, Dye Penetration Test
(Checking for cracks in several materials)

 

C. Salt Spray [Fog] Testing
(Checking for corrosion resistance)

 

D. Material Analysis
(Material identification of chemical and physical properties with the accuracy of laboratories)

 

E. Damage Analysis
(Cause investigation and respectively damage analysis of damaged metal parts)
